I don’t know the better start of the year and day than with a delicious breakfast. I am sure you’ve already heard about overnight oats. It’s an easy and perfect solution for everyone who is busy during the morning.
Maybe because I go to the gym in the early hours I appreciate an easy breakfast which I can prepare for a few seconds. I don’t know how’s about you but I can’t do workouts on empty stomach so this is the best way how to eat something.
Is Oats healthy?
The oats are not only tasty and easy to make but also super healthy for the body. It’s the healthiest grains and a great source of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and fibre. We all know that a healthy breakfast is a key for losing weight and keeping our day active and full of energy, and exactly this is the reason why starting the day with a bowl of oats is the best idea.
Other studies are showing that oats can lower blood sugar, help you with cholesterol, skincare or weight control.
How to prepare overnight oats
Super easy! Mix all ingredients together. Get ready a jar or container and pour the oats mixture into it.
Leave the oat in the fridge for a few hours and overnight.
You can use some topping as chocolate chips, nuts, dried fruit, maple syrup etc … It tastes delicious with everything.
If you prefer a warmer oatmeal, just place the jar into the microwave and warm it up for a few seconds.

Banana-cocoa overnight oats/ vegan
Ingredients
- 500 g Rolled oats
- 120 ml Non-diary milk
- 2 tbsp Cocoa powder
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 150 ml Non-diary milk
- Topping Nuts, chocolate, etc ..
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients together and pour it into the jars. Leave it in the fridge over the night.
- Use different topping of your choice. The porridge can be eaten cold or warm. For a warm option place the porridge into the microwave for few seconds.
